Follow these suggestions to help ensure you get enough protein in your diet:
- Add two tablespoon of dry skim milk powder to the regular amount of milk in recipes.
- Add skim milk powder to hot or cold cereals, soups, gravies, sauces, ground meat dishes, casseroles or when baking.
- Add diced or ground meat, chicken or turkey to soups or casseroles.
- Add generous amounts of grated cheese to sauces, vegetables, soups or casseroles.
- Add generous amounts of peanut butter or cottage cheese on breads or on fruits.
