Religious and Spiritual Life at Jewish Home

Religious and Spiritual Life at Jewish Home

Dove collage made by Manhattan Day Center client

For over 155 years, Jewish Home Lifecare has welcomed the Jewish community, while meeting the religious needs of all its residents, patients and clients. Today, through a variety of services and programs delivered by the Department of Religious Life at all three divisions, that tradition continues.

The Jewish Home is firmly rooted in Jewish values, including the importance of providing excellent care for people of all races, creeds and faiths. Consistent with this mission, each nursing home has a Rabbi who directs the Religious Life Department and is responsible for the administration and delivery of religious services and programs for people of all religious traditions.

Visits from clergy of all faiths may be arranged through the Director of Religious Life.
