Dutch Treat: Jewish Home Lifecare Hosts a Double Dutch Tourney on Manhattan Campus

doubledutch1 When you think of jumping rope, a Manhattan nursing home is probably not the setting that comes to mind.

The ropes were turning, however, on Saturday, February 11, when 29 Double Dutch teams used the Jewish Home Lifecare facilities for their competition.

Nursing home residents were delighted to watch the girls in action, and enjoyed the goodies from the bake sale that supports this urban girls’ sport.
