Grandparents Day 2011 at Kittay House
On the first Sunday following Labor Day, families and grandchildren of Kittay tenants shared a special afternoon of celebration to honor their bubbys, pop-pops, abuelas, opas , nonnas and yeh yehs on Grandparents Day.
Many Kittay families participated in the fun-filled activities of magic and music, bringing boundless joy and laughter to their grandparents and even to those that they simply “adopted’ for the day.
