January 30, 2012 was Super Sunday for the UJA Federation with more than 800 volunteers making calls to raise funds for the needy.
Among those volunteers were two tenants of Kittay House Senior Apartments, Selma Cohen and Zelda Fassler.
Each worked the phones for more than an hour and brought in pledges to support some 100 UJA beneficiary organizations which help those in need in New York, Israel and around the world. The Kittay House team, which also included staffers David Levitt and Naomi Chiel, raised $4000.
