The Jewish Home and Hospital Lifecare System is changing it’s name to Jewish Home Lifecare.

In 1848 the organization began assisting elder women in their homes. From this beginning we evolved into a nursing home, added rehabilitation care, adult day care, home health care, elder housing facilities, transportation, case management and other services to assist elders and those who care for them.
Throughout this 159 year evolution, we have been the Home for Aged and Infirm Hebrews. Then we became The Jewish Home and Hospital for Aged. Most recently, we have been known as The Jewish Home and Hospital Lifecare System.
Now we are becoming Jewish Home Lifecare.
The heart of what we are has remained constant — a group of people dedicated to helping elders to lead comfortable and fulfilling lives. But a central part of our history has been an understanding that the needs of elders and those who care for them are always changing and that we must change to meet those needs.
The name Jewish Home Lifecare is an expression of the tradition at the heart of who we are and of our commitment to innovation in crafting our work around the ways elders want to live their lives.
Throughout 2008, will continue to develop the Jewish Home Lifecare identity. We will be changing our logo, the words we use to describe ourselves, how we present different services to customers and other elements of our “brand identity.” Our goal is to find the most meaningful way to communicate with those we serve. Please feel free to e-mail Roger Logan, Director of Brand Management with any comments.
