Cara UnowskyBased upon her demonstration of “exemplary professionalism, hard work and continuing education,” Jewish Home Lifecare’s Cara Unowsky, senior project manager of strategic planning, has been selected winner of the Young Professional Award presented by the Jewish Communal Service Association of North America.

Ms. Unowsky has been a driving force in creating an intergenerational youth program and a geriatric career development program at Jewish Home Lifecare.

The award will be presented November 17th in Israel at the JCSA General Assembly’s “Next Generation Day.” It includes travel expenses to Israel as well as $1000 for educational purposes.

Ms. Unowsky is project manager of the $250 million rebuilding project at the Manhattan Division, which includes coordination of project team members, analysis of financing and regulatory oversight, architectural and construction design and board of trustee support.  She is also involved in senior housing programs, trend and data analysis and long range plan implementation.
