Highlights from Our Communities of Caring Initiative

There are currently 34 Communities of Caring operating at Jewish Home Lifecare.

  • In 2006, Sarah Neuman Center in Westchester marked its first full year of operation under the Communities of Caring model.
  • In 2006,The Durst Center for Creative Arts and Alternative Therapies was established inWestchester. Residents participate in art therapy, meditation, gentle yoga, aromatherapy, tai chi, and other techniques.
