Striking Back Against Stroke

A free health education program, Striking Back Against Stroke, sponsored by White Plains Hospital Center and Jewish Home Lifecare/Sarah Neuman Center, will be held on:

This program is part of Jewish Home Lifecare’s ongoing health education series and White Plains Hospital Center’s Wellness Through Prevention Month.
 
Speakers include:

Richard D. Sweet, MD, a board certified neurologist and Chief Emeritus of neurology at White Plains Hospital Center. Dr. Sweet will discuss stroke prevention, risk factors, and post-stroke care.

Sue Laub, physical therapist at Jewish Home Lifecare/Sarah Neuman Center, who will discuss exercises to prevent stroke, and rehabilitation exercises post-stroke.

A Sarah Neuman nutritionist will discuss healthy diets.
