With A Spouse With Alzheimers’s disease

Ina’s Story, a workshop for caregivers living at home with a spouse in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease, is open for enrollment at Jewish Home Lifecare Sarah Neuman Center in Mamaroneck.

The six-week workshop will be led Alan Dienstag, a clinical psychologist and Ina Feidelman, a caregiver who will share her own experiences and the knowledge she has gained. The workshop focuses on the story of one caregiver as source material to provide other caregivers with the information and tools they need to cope with the demands of caring for a spouse with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
