The Manhattan campus’s 514-bed skilled nursing care facility is one of the nation’s pioneer long term care and rehabilitation centers.

Jewish Home Lifecare’s Manhattan campus has a full-time house staff of physicians, skilled nurses and a large staff of attending physicians. They provide care in all major specialties and sub-specialties.

Highlights of the Manhattan Division excellent health care services include:

  • Alzheimer’s Special Care Units
  • Adult day health care programs, 7 days a week

  • The Swallowing Center
  • Long term home health care
  • Lifecare Plus
  • Short-stay rehabilitation and subacute care
  • Occupational, speech and physical therapy
  • 24 hour coverage by onsite and on-call medical health care
  • A computerized pharmacy

Our specialized staff can expertly treat conditions such as depression, dysphagia, and aphasia.

In addition, through our affiliation with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, we train fourth-year medical students in geriatrics and conduct a graduate physicians fellowship program.
