Kathleen McArdle was appointed as Administrator of Sarah Neuman Center in October, 2010. She is responsible for planning, organizing and directing all areas of the 300 bed residential healthcare facility.
Ms. McArdle previously served as Associate Administrator of Sarah Neuman for seven years. In that post, she was responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facility, in addition to the capital projects of more than 2 million dollars per year. She earned her M.A. degree in 1993 from Syracuse University, and her B.A. from Salve Regina University, Newport, Rhode Island. As a Registered Dietitian, she completed a dietetic internship at Yale New Haven Hospital, Connecticut. Her Administrator-In-Training program was completed at the Wartburg in Mt Vernon, New York
She is a member of the Association of Westchester Rockland Long Term Care Administrators, where she serves as secretary, and is Past Board Chair for Hospice and Palliative Care in Westchester and currently chairs their Audit and Compliance Committee.
A resident of Port Chester, she loves working at Jewish Home Lifecare Sarah Neuman Center. The residents, families and staff are wonderful. There is low turnover of staff, which makes this such a great place to work.
