Rita Morgan, Administrator, Bronx Division of Jewish Home Lifecare

Rita Morgan was appointed Administrator of the Bronx Division of Jewish Home Lifecare in October, 2010.  Rita oversees the 816-bed nursing home and rehabilitation center, as well as Kittay House, the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Gardens, the Kenneth Gladstone Building and Riverdale Housing for the Elderly, and is responsible for the daily care of more than 2500 residents, patients, and clients.  She supervises a clinical, medical, and professional staff of 1100.  The Bronx Division of Jewish Home Lifecare is one of the largest employers in the Bronx.

 Rita previously served as the Administrator of the Sarah Neuman Center, Jewish Home’s Westchester Division.  From 1989 to 2000 she was Associate Administrator.

Rita earned her M.S. in Gerontological Services Administration from the New School in New York City, her B.S. from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York, and her Registered Nursing degree from Our Lady of Mercy School of Nursing in the Bronx.
