As Chief Administrative Officer for Jewish Home Lifecare, Thomas J. Gilmartin has responsibility for overseeing and managing the System’s Finance, Information Technology, Materials Management, Legal and Pharmacy departments.

Thomas has more than 25 years healthcare finance experience in the long term care and community service industries. Thomas began his career working for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield conducting Medicare and Blue Cross audits for nursing homes and homecare agencies in New York.

During the last twenty five years, Thomas has expanded upon his portfolio of qualifications covering information systems, finance and operations and has served in the senior management capacities of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer in various healthcare settings.

Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Herbert H. Lehman College and his Masters in Business Administration from Norwich University.
