Jewish Home Lifecare’s campuses in the Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and our Home Healthcare programs proudly fullfill the rigorus standards required for accrediation by The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and have earned the JCAHO “Gold Seal of Approval.”
JCAHO is an independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies more than 15,000 healthcare organizations and programs across the United States. JCAHO accreditation and certification are recognized nationwide as a measure of quality, reflecting an organization’s commitment to the highest standards. To earn and maintain the “Gold Seal of Approval,” Jewish Home must undergo an extensive on-site survey by the JCAHO survey team at least every three years.
Standards and Performance Measurement
Joint Commission standards address an organization’s level of performance in key areas such as patient rights, patient treatment and infection control. The standards focus on an organization’s commitment to and delivery of the highest standards of care.
