Research internships and fellowships are available for medical, nursing, public policy, sociology, psychology, and social work students at the Research Institute on Aging. If you are interested or have questions, please contact us at research@jewishhome.org.

Opportunities for Students

Research training opportunities are provided for masters’ level students, as well as doctoral and post doctoral fellows from a variety of fields, including medicine, nursing, public health, sociology, psychology, and social work.

Students and fellows work under the supervision of senior scientists on a variety of ongoing or developing research projects. If you are interested or have questions, please email us. Please note that at this time, we only can support unpaid positions.

How to Apply for a Internship at the Research Institute on Aging

Send curriculum vitae, contact information for three references, a short writing sample (2-10 pages) and a cover letter which includes:

  • Specific research interests
  • Goals and expectations for the internship
  • Relationship to your academic program
  • Time availability
  • Interest in paid or unpaid internship (please note: most internships are unpaid; stipends or salary are rarely available).
