Jewish Home Lifecare has declared a weather emergency, beginning at 7:00 AM, Monday, January 26, 2015. This weather emergency will continue until further notice.
Employees who are scheduled to work are expected to report to work at their regulary scheduled time and location. Arrangements to work at an alternative site must be approved by your supervisor.
All Corporate staff are expected to report to work during the Emergency.
Staff transportation assistance is being provided.
For Manhattan Campus staff:
There will be continuous pick-ups and drop offs from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM and from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the following locations:
There will also be a run at 10:30 PM depending on needs.
During these hours, if you are waiting for pickup, please call the security desk at 212-870-4827 to advise that you are at one of these locations.
For Sarah Neuman Westchester Campus staff:

NYC subway service will run on local tracks only after 8:00 PM. All subway service will be suspended at 11:00 PM.
NYC bus service will be suspended at 11:00 PM tonight.
The LIRR service will be suspended at 11:00 PM.
Metro North will be suspended at 11:00 PM

Westchester county buses will be suspended at 8:00 PM and will resume on Wednesday as road conditions permit. Visit http://transportation.westchestergov.com/ for latest status

Driving in NYC on Long Island and in the lower Hudson valley is restricted to emergency personnel after 11:00 PM.Please note that healthcare professionals with a healthcare facility ID are considered emergency personnel. Please drive safely if you drive. All Port Authority bridges and tunnels will close at 11:00 PM.
Additional restrictions may be imposed on other NY State highways.

Note: Jewish Home IT is in the process of switching over to an upgraded email system. At this point some staff have been switched to the new email system and others have not.
Staff who have not yet been switched to the new email system should use the Old Email Web Access link.
Staff who have been switched to the new email system should use one of the New Web Email Access links. The new email system has been segmented by location.
Staff located at the Manhattan Campus, the Westchester Campus, the 29th Street office or any of the CHHA offices, with the exception of Exterior Street, must use the New Web Email Access Manhattan, Westchester, 29th Street and CHHA link.
Staff located at the Bronx Campus or at the Exterior Street office must use the New Web Email Access Bronx and Exterior Street link.
If you attempt to access web email using the incorrect link, an error message will be displayed and you will be unable to access web email. If you experience problems when using the correct link, please contact the Help Desk at ITServiceDesk@jewishhome.org or at ext. 5777.
